We provide a Breakfast Club to support our working parents. Breakfast club is available from 8.00am until 8.45am at a cost of £3. Places must be booked via the school office before 3pm on the previous day.

School starts at 9.00am for all pupils.

Parents are asked not to send children to school before 8.45am as there will be no supervision. At 8.45am, the school gates are opened and children are able to enjoy supervised play on the playground from 8.45am until the bell rings at 9.00am. At this stage all children line up and are collected from the playground by their teacher.

Break Time

10.30am to 10.45am

Children may bring a Healthy Snack to enjoy at break time. This should be a piece of fruit or fresh vegetables and a drink of water only.

Lunch Break

12.00pm to 12.45pm

Children may bring a packed lunch to school or order a school dinner at a cost of £2.60 per day. Children eat their lunch together in the hall before going outside to play

All children will be expected to go outside to play at lunchtime. Parents who wish their child to remain indoors should collect them from school at the start of lunchtime and return them at the end of lunchtime. Supervision of individual pupils is not available.

Nut Allergy

We have an increasing number of pupils in the school who have a nut allergy. We would request, therefore, that you do not send any nut-containing products to school.

School Finishing Times

P1-P3                   2.00pm

P4-P7                   3.00pm

P1-P3 teachers have afternoon classes to cover from 2pm so we ask that children are collected as promptly as possible. Children not collected by 2.10pm will be supervised in After School Club and a charge for the session will be applied.

After School Club:

We provide an extension to the school day through our After School Club. This is a social club where children can stay and play with their friends. It runs from 2.00pm-5.00pm and places can be booked, via our text message service, in hourly sessions. The cost for attending the club is £2.50 per hour. Children who attend After School Club enjoy a snack and a drink and a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. All bookings must be received before 12 noon.
