Well, that was a very fun day!! A huge thank you to everyone involved for helping to make the day special and memorable whilst celebrating the wonderful world of books along the way.
We had a great time together in assembly chatting about books, showing off our fabulous costumes and playing some 'in character' games like the Mystery Hot Seat in which we had to guess the character by asking them different questions. Everyone did so well!
We then gave children the chance to pick from a wide variety of stories read aloud by a range of adults across the school. We had a everything from The Tiger Who Came to Tea to some truly terrifying tales for our older children!
BOOK SWAP UPDATE We have decided to extend the Preloved Book Swap into next week to allow everyone a bit more time to bring in a 'preloved' book to exchange.
