The heavy wind and rain today meant that we couldn't get outside for our usual 'Forest School Friday'. So instead, the children in Red and Orange classes enjoyed a 'forest school inspired' play session. We used some of the charcoal left over from our recent forest school campfire. The children thoroughly enjoyed using this to create writing and artwork. They worked together to build big dens with the tarps and pegs, and mini dens for the small world figures using construction straws and fabric.
