As part of our Rights Respecting Schools initiative we have an Article of the Month to help us to promote children's rights across the school.
The Article is on display in each classroom and around school.
This month's Article is Article 2- Non Discrimination.
The Convention applies to every child without discrimination, whatever their ethnicity, gender, religion, language, abilities or any other status, whatever their family background.
The children will learn what the word discrimination means and complete age appropriate activities to gain an understanding of the different types of discrimination and how we can work together to ensure that discrimination does not occur in our school.
