This week in class, P5 have been learning about Remembrance Day. We talked about why poppies are worn and some children visited the shop to buy their own poppy related items. On Wednesday at 11am we joined the whole school in a 2 minute silence in our own classroom. We spent some time colouring Remembrance Day pictures and we enjoyed painting rocks to display at the school boat. Today we completed our learning by taking a walk to Ballyhalbert War Memorial to see the wreaths that have been laid.
