The boys and girls from Indigo and Blue class enjoyed a trip to Mount Stewart today which was funded by the Starling Bank. We had a lot of fun spending several hours in the beautiful forest with our friendly leaders. We learned about climate change and wildfires, and the importance of taking care of the world around us. We took part in some mindfulness with nature, some natural art and lit our very own fires. We particularly enjoyed our forest snack of toasted bakery goods and hot fruit juice. It was so lovely being so close to nature for most of our school day! Check out our pictures below.
