All classes worked hard this week in a range of maths challenges. The Green, Blue, Indigo and Purple class entered the 3-day times table challenge known as ‘Island of Ireland Rocks’, where they raced to answer multiplication and division questions correctly, against 247 other schools. As a group, they finished in 173rd position! Our highest achieving class was the Blue class, who finished in 481st position out of 982 classes 👏🏻 The Yellow class spent Maths week developing their measuring skills, which enabled them to successfully make top hats for all within school. The Rainbow, Red and Orange classes took part in exciting Maths investigations, sorting activities and online games. Some classes also enjoyed making Maths active by taking parts in NumberFit mental maths tasks. Below you will see some of these exciting activities and more! Well done to all pupils involved!
