To finish our ‘Flight’ topic , Purple Class were set a S.T.E.M ( Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) challenge. They first had to work as a team to design a kite, they then needed to choose the appropriate resources and work together to create their kite. Next they had to learn how to fly a real kite before adding in some modifications to improve their own kites. The final challenge was to get their kites to fly. Well done to our winning team, who each won a new kite to enjoy at home.
